India ranks 3rd for worldwide pharmaceutical production by volume and14th by value. The country has a network of 3000 drug companies and 10,500 manufacturing units. The availability of highly qualified human resources at cheaper rate than Europe and other western nations has developed India a production hub of harmaceuticals. Pharmaceuticals Giants worldwide are opening their manufacturing units in India. Thus, India has truly become the �Pharmacy of the world�.
